Senior Logistics Manager

Job description

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure high service quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, and cost‑efficient performance. Contribute to creating and implementing logistics vision, strategy, policies, and best‑practice processes. Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics activities in coordination with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers. Deliver logistics solutions within budget while maintaining quality. Monitor quality, quantities, delivery times, and transport costs. Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers. Analyze trends and data to identify savings and process improvements. Lead a high‑performing team, ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies

Requirements

• Proficiency in end‑to‑end logistics management
• Experience in planning and evaluating logistics operations
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Experience negotiating contracts and rates
• Proficiency in data and trend analysis
• Knowledge of cost‑optimization and waste reduction
• Proficiency with logistics software and ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Minimum 8 years logistics experience, including at least 5 years in relevant roles
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
