Commercial Contracts Senior Manager - KSA Only

Job description

Responsible for safeguarding the employer's interests with clients, suppliers and partners. Develop the contractual and commercial framework for projects from start to finish. Work with operations teams to mitigate immediate financial impacts. Proactively assist in finding commercial solutions to identified negative deviations. Conduct contract reviews and advise project teams on best commercial practices related to scope changes and change orders. Deploy standard commercial management methodologies in project delivery and monitoring. Manage claims and advise on proper record keeping for potential or pending claims. Alert operational management to commercial risk threats and recommend optimal approaches. Provide ongoing support in validating the employer's entitlement and quantifying damages to facilitate dispute resolution. Assert the employer's position and achieve reasonable settlements, even in constrained contract language environments. Investigate causes and effects of events, analyze them and report findings. Manage risks related to commercial and contractual success of the project

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of construction‑related laws and historical dispute behaviors by country
• risk management
• at least 10 years experience in contractual liability and causation analysis
• knowledge of multiple standard contracts by country
• ability to identify, analyze, prepare and substantiate damage claims
• proven track record of positive outcomes in damage claim resolution across contract levels
• documented success in leading dispute resolution
• extensive contract analysis and party performance tracking throughout project lifecycle
• advanced negotiation and closing skills
• experience in legal settings
• experience in contract law
• experience in construction payment law requirements
• knowledge of HVAC, building management, fire alarm and security systems
