About the Role Qatar is looking for a lawyer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position and requires 2 to 5 years of experience. The successful candidate will provide essential legal support and advice to the company, manage legal issues and ensure compliance with Saudi laws and regulations. Purpose of the role The primary purpose of this role is to protect the rights and interests of the company. This includes providing legal advice, supervising legal disputes, and preparing and reviewing important legal documents and contracts to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Main Responsibilities: Monitoring labor cases and legal claims filed against the company, coordinating the necessary procedures, and tracking developments. Raising and filing legal claims against parties that violate the company’s rights or fail to fulfill its legal obligations. Drafting statements of claim, legal memorandums, responses, and other required legal defenses. Review contracts and agreements from a legal perspective to ensure that their terms are legally sound and compliant with regulations. Providing legal advice to various internal departments on matters and disputes related to the company’s operations. Follow up on lawsuits and legal procedures before the competent courts and judicial committees while adhering to the applicable authorities, regulations, and governors’ requirements. Research and analyze laws and regulations related to the company’s business and provide appropriate legal recommendations. Monitor updates to laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and evaluate their potential impact on operations Company. Prepare and maintain legal documents and case files, update case records, and monitor legal deadlines and procedural requirements. Experience and Qualifications Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in a legal role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Saudi Arabia laws and legal procedures. A relevant legal degree is expected. Work Environment This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Qatar Legal team
