Production Supervisor

Job description

Agricultural Production Supervisor in the Qassim region. Responsible for managing plant production operations and palm cultivation. Develop seasonal plans and monitor operational program execution. Supervise agricultural teams and allocate tasks. Monitor palm health and control pests. Prepare periodic technical reports and analyze production indicators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Plant Production and Protection from an accredited university
• minimum 3 years of practical experience in plant production or agricultural supervision
• good knowledge of palm cultivation and management
• familiarity with modern agricultural practices to improve date quality and yield
• technical knowledge of palm growth stages and needs for irrigation, fertilization, pollination, pruning, thinning, and harvesting
• ability to identify common agricultural pests and diseases, especially red palm weevil, and integrated prevention methods
• familiarity with irrigation programs and soil fertility management
• knowledge of methods to improve agricultural production and reduce loss
• ability to prepare seasonal plans and follow approved schedules
• experience supervising agricultural teams, task distribution, and performance monitoring
• knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and safety requirements
• ability to track production indicators, analyze results, and prepare reports
• basic understanding of operating agricultural equipment safely
• proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• strong planning, organization, problem‑solving, and technical decision‑making skills
• commitment to organizational guidelines
• adherence to production schedules
