UI/UX Specialist

Job description

The specialist designs and improves user experiences for IT services at KAUST. Ensures application of user‑centered design principles and accessibility standards within the UI/UX framework. Documents UI/UX standards, collaborates with service owners and user interaction specialists to conduct user research, develop prototypes, conduct usability testing, and provide design governance. Contributes to intuitive, efficient, and accessible digital experiences that support KAUST's operational excellence and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Proficient with modern design/prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD or equivalents
• Comprehensive knowledge of responsive design, interaction design, design systems, and user research methods
• 5+ years experience in UI/UX design, user research, or usability evaluation
• Ability to lead UX activities end‑to‑end in multi‑stakeholder environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration
• Proficient in Excel
• Skilled in graphic design
• Attention to fine details
