Purchasing & Logistics Manager

Job description

Supervise purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and logistics operations. Ensure timely procurement of materials and services at competitive prices while maintaining high quality. Optimize transportation, achieve cost savings, and identify opportunities to resell surplus. Manage procurement and develop purchasing plans in coordination with warehouse, plant, and operations departments. Evaluate and manage suppliers, maintaining an approved supplier list. Negotiate prices, contracts, and purchase terms, and issue purchase orders according to company authority matrix. Monitor supplier material quality, handle returns, and resolve supplier issues. Establish alternative suppliers for critical items to reduce supply chain disruptions. Coordinate with Marketing for sample approvals and ensure material specifications before distribution. Plan and coordinate material transport between suppliers, warehouses, plants, and branches to guarantee on‑time delivery. Analyze purchase costs, identify cost‑reduction opportunities, and monitor savings against reference prices. Identify resale opportunities for surplus and coordinate financial approvals. Lead the purchasing and logistics team, delegate responsibilities, monitor and evaluate performance. Prepare detailed financial reports on procurement savings and deliver monthly executive reports to the General Manager covering procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance, operational challenges, and resale revenue

• minimum 2 years supervisory experience
• prior experience in restaurant and cafe sector
• strong negotiation experience with suppliers

• ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and transport service providers
