Veterinary Assistant

Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking to appoint a Veterinary Assistant for a temporary event. Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Assistant to support veterinary operations during an upcoming event in Riyadh. The successful candidate will assist veterinarians in daily animal care, basic clinical procedures, handling and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist veterinarians during basic clinical examinations, treatments and procedures. • Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately. • Support the routine care, feeding, cleaning and monitoring of animals. • Set up and maintain veterinary equipment, treatment areas and supplies. • Monitor animals and immediately report any changes in their condition to the veterinarian. • Maintain accurate records regarding animal care and treatments. • Follow health, safety, hygiene and animal welfare procedures. • Support the veterinary team with other event related duties as required. Requirements: • Saudi nationality. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a closely related veterinary role. • Relevant qualifications or diploma in veterinary science, animal health or any related field is preferred. • Good knowledge of animal handling and basic veterinary procedures. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced event environment. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work for the full temporary assignment period from November 2026 to January 2027. • Must be based in or able to work in Riyadh
