General Manager

Job description

Seeking a General Manager to oversee agricultural operations focused on palm trees, fruits, and vegetables. Develop and implement strategic plans to boost production and efficiency. Lead and manage all aspects from planting to harvesting and distribution. Monitor and evaluate processes to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with agronomists to improve yields and sustainability practices. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Build relationships with suppliers, distributors, and stakeholders. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations for best practices. Report directly to the executive team with insights on performance and strategic direction.

Requirements

• Proficient with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience in agricultural management focusing on palm trees, fruits and vegetables
• Proven track record managing large‑scale agricultural operations
• Strong understanding of modern agricultural technologies and practices
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and sustainability practices in agriculture
