Head of PMO

Job description

We are seeking a Head of PMO to lead the project management team and achieve governance and compliance in projects. The Head will be responsible for setting delivery standards, coaching the team, and governing how projects are initiated, executed, and closed. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent, with certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or MoP. The candidate should have 7+ years of experience in PMO leadership, portfolio governance, delivery assurance, or project controls, with at least 3 years of experience in a role with direct line management of Project Managers or delivery professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or MoP
• 7+ years in PMO leadership, portfolio governance, delivery assurance, or project controls
• at least 3 years of experience in a role with direct line management of Project Managers or delivery professionals
• proven track record of building or significantly improving a PMO framework
• experience governing a portfolio of 8 or more concurrent complex implementations
• strong background in portfolio analytics and performance reporting
• experience managing cross-functional stakeholders.
