Project Manager ( Data Center)

Job description

The Project Manager – Data Center is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of data center projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in data center infrastructure, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. This includes leading the end-to-end management of data center construction and fit-out projects from inception to handover. Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources is also a key part of the role. Ensuring compliance with Tier III / Tier IV design and operational requirements, as applicable, is crucial. Coordinating with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are achieved is necessary. Managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors is also essential. Monitoring project risks, implementing mitigation measures, and resolving issues proactively is vital. Overseeing testing, commissioning, and final acceptance of all mechanical, electrical, ELV, and IT infrastructure systems is required. Ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality control procedures, and environmental standards is necessary. Preparing regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders is also a key responsibility. Driving continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality is expected.
