Job description

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and driving additional sales. Responsibilities include actively seeking and engaging customers, promoting merchandise in the housewares department, ensuring stock is well‑stocked and attractively displayed, accurately processing all payment methods, handling sales transactions, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and conducting stock takes

Requirements

• proficient in Excel
• proficient in Word
• proficient in English
• customer service
• effective communication
• sales floor planning
• five CXC passes at General proficiency level including Mathematics and English
• at least one year sales experience in retail
• computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• ability to work independently
• ability to use tact and courtesy at all times
• good written and oral communication skills
• ability to work well with other employees
• ability to work under pressure
• ability to coordinate activities between locations
• ability to complete individual and group tasks efficiently and on time
