Job description

Leadership role to provide technical assurance for process safety and major incident risk management. Acts as a technical authority across our portfolio of energy, oil & gas, mining, industrial and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities: serve as technical authority on multiple projects; lead technical reviews during concept, FEED and detailed design phases; perform independent design assurance and peer reviews; solve complex engineering challenges and provide specialized guidance; propose support, conduct client workshops and drive business development; mentor junior engineers and build technical capability of the THSE team; develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices

Requirements

• Knowledge of IEC standards
• OSHA
• Saudi Aramco standards
• Excel
• AWS cloud
• project management
• bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• preferred certified or professional engineer
• minimum 20 years experience in oil & gas, energy, petrochemicals or industrial sectors
• proven experience as a technical authority, senior engineer, principal consultant, engineering lead or equivalent
• technical experience with HAZOP
• LOPA
• SIL
• QRA
• outcome modeling
• ALARP
• IEC 61511
