HSE Manager

Job description

the employer is seeking an HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental activities for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. The role oversees the Project HSE Management Plan, coordinates with client, contractors and authorities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. It promotes a proactive safety culture, provides expert advice, identifies and mitigates risks throughout construction phases, and reviews contractor documentation and practices. The manager conducts site inspections, audits, incident investigations, supports training and environmental monitoring, and ensures adherence to Saudi and international environmental requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management or related field
• NEBOSH International General Certificate minimum
• NEBOSH Diploma preferred
• IOSH membership preferred
• OSHA or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor preferred
• minimum 15 years experience in HSE roles within construction
• extensive experience on major roads, highways, bridges or large infrastructure projects
• experience in the Middle East or GCC mandatory
• Saudi project experience advantageous
• experience in consultancy, PMCM or construction supervision mandatory
• proficient in English
• knowledge of Saudi and international regulations.
