Health and Safety Officer (Underground and Surface)

Job description

We are seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join the Health, Safety & Environment Department of a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia. The officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental procedures across mining and drilling operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, hazard identification, monitoring high-risk activities, and providing health and safety training

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Valid driving licence with the ability to travel to remote operational sites
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in Health, Safety and Environment within the mining, mineral exploration, drilling
