Terminal Operations Duty

Job description

Support efficient and effective terminal services operation, ensuring high standards of customer service, safety, and performance. Assist in overseeing daily terminal activities including check‑in, baggage handling, and passenger assistance. Monitor passenger flow and address congestion. Report operational issues to the supervisor. Implement process improvements. Strictly follow safety and security protocols. Ensure compliance with airline and airport regulations. Participate in emergency drills and manage disruptions with relevant authorities. Provide exceptional service to passengers with special needs and resolve complaints promptly. Deliver accurate flight and service information. Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming terminal environment. Collaborate with other terminal service teams for seamless operations. Communicate proactively with airlines and ground handlers. Record and submit flight data to auditors. Monitor key performance metrics such as wait times and service quality. Prepare performance reports. Manage resources including equipment and supplies. Ensure equipment maintenance. Participate in training programs and train new team members. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with innovative ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in airport operations or similar field
• preferred certification in airport operations or related (e.g., ACI Airport Operations Diploma, IATA certifications)
