Demand Planning Expert

Job description

Responsible for providing expertise in digital demand management and service portfolio practices. Supports the application of frameworks, methodologies and processes that enable prioritization, capacity planning and delivery alignment across digital initiatives. Provides technical guidance, analyzes demand management activities and recommends improvements to enhance governance, efficiency and alignment with digital transformation goals. Supports continuous improvement of digital demand management frameworks, assesses digital demand requests and advises on classification, prioritization, feasibility, value assessment and business alignment. Reviews demand intake processes and suggests enhancements for transparency, consistency, traceability and stakeholder experience. Provides technical guidance on digital service catalog structures, service definitions, ownership models and lifecycle management. Evaluates demand pipeline information to offer insights on initiative alignment, delivery readiness, capacity considerations and potential constraints. Supports capacity planning by analyzing demand forecasts, resource needs, skill availability and delivery dependencies. Reviews digital portfolio data and recommends improvements for prioritization, sequencing and value realization across initiatives. Assesses governance practices related to digital demand management and proposes enhancements to strengthen decision‑making and accountability. Offers advisory support for requirements handover by reviewing demand documentation, completeness and readiness for delivery teams. Analyzes stakeholder engagement practices and suggests improvements to communication, alignment and collaboration. Monitors demand management performance indicators and provides insights on backlog status, cycle times, fulfillment rates and operational trends. Identifies challenges, risks, dependencies and process gaps in demand management and recommends appropriate improvement actions. Supports development and enhancement of demand management playbooks, templates, guidelines and knowledge materials. Reviews proposed process improvements and provides expert input for effective implementation and adoption. Benchmarks digital demand management practices against industry standards to identify gaps
