Feed Miller

Job description

the employer is seeking a Feed Miller in Khamīs Mushayţ, ’Asir. The role involves operating and supervising the feed mill production process to ensure safe animal feed products that meet formulation, quality, and feed safety standards. Optimize plant efficiency, minimize waste, and lead shift operators to meet production targets. Execute daily production plans and achieve volume and on-time delivery goals. Monitor and adjust process parameters such as grind size, mixing time, steam, temperature, and moisture. Perform product changeovers, flushing, and sequencing to prevent cross‑contamination. Ensure each batch follows the approved formula with precise dosing of raw materials and additives. Conduct in‑process checks and support laboratory testing of raw materials and finished feed. Identify non‑conforming products, hold them, and escalate to quality with corrective actions. Comply with HACCP, GMP, and regulatory requirements. Maintain batch records for full traceability. Coordinate raw material availability with warehouse and planning, reporting shortages in advance. Control yield and reduce waste, rework, and spillage. Monitor energy and steam consumption and suggest efficiency improvements. Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance. Report breakdowns promptly and work with maintenance to minimize downtime. Keep housekeeping, hygiene, and pest control standards. Enforce safety procedures, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, confined space rules, and dust control. Supervise, guide, and train feed mill operators on equipment, quality, and safety. Maintain production logs, shift handover reports, and report performance, downtime, and losses. Collaborate with nutritionists, quality, and maintenance teams and participate in process improvement initiatives. Adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct, ethics, and Saudi labor regulations

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role
• proficient in operating and supervising feed milling equipment
• proficient in executing daily production plans
• knowledge of adjusting process parameters such as grind size and mixing time
• proficient in performing product changeovers and flushing
• knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards
• proficient in maintaining batch records for traceability
• knowledge of coordinating raw material availability with warehouse
