PTW Coordinator

About the Role the employer is seeking a PTW Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for managing and coordinating the Permit to Work (PTW) system at the project site. The role ensures that all high-risk activities are properly authorized, monitored and implemented in accordance with the project's HSE procedures and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the site work permit system for all applicable activities. Review PTW applications for completeness and ensure required approvals are obtained before work begins. Coordinate permits for various high-risk activities including electrical work, hot work, drilling, confined space entries, work at height, lifting operations, and isolation/LOTO procedures. Ensure that risk assessments, method statements, job safety analyzes (JSA)/job hazard analyzes (JHA) and other supporting documents are attached to permits. Ensure appropriate isolation, barriers, personal protective equipment (PPE) and control measures are in place before issuing a permit. Liaise with permit issuers, permit recipients, EHS, construction and operations teams. Maintain an up-to-date PTW log and track permit status, validity, suspension and closure. Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved permits and their conditions. Ensure that permits are correctly suspended, extended, or locked as needed. Prevent unauthorized action and immediately escalate any violations of PTW or unsafe conditions. Conduct PTW briefings and awareness for relevant site staff. Maintain PT records W for audits and management reporting. Support PTW audits and recommend improvements to enhance the permitting system. Ensure compliance with company and client requirements and Saudi HSE regulatory requirements. Qualifications and Experience Candidates must have 0-1 years of relevant experience.
