Senior Appian Developer - Process & Workflow

Job description

Onsite role in Riyadh, open to all nationalities. Design and build complex process models, case management flows, and business rules for Appian applications at a leading Saudi bank. Responsibilities include building subprocesses, parallel flows, timers, exception handling and multi-level approvals; implementing case management for account opening, credit approvals, disputes, KYC refresh, and complaints; modeling business rules and decision tables; designing task routing, SLAs, delegation and maker‑checker controls aligned with segregation‑of‑duties policies; optimizing process performance, memory usage, archiving, node counts and smart‑service selection; implementing audit trails and process history for compliance; writing rule test cases and supporting QA/UAT defect resolution; reviewing peer designs and mentoring mid‑level developers

Requirements

• 10+ years total experience
• 6+ years hands‑on Appian development
• Appian Certified Senior Developer (mandatory)
• expert in Appian process modeling, variables, smart services and process reports
• proficient in expression rules, queries and CDT/record type design
• experience with Appian Process HQ or workflow analytics
• solid SQL skills and understanding of transaction concurrency
• knowledge of BPMN and banking operational workflows
• strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
• notice period 1 month or immediate joiners preferred
• experience in banking or financial‑services environment
• knowledge of Git
• understanding of compliance.
