Plastic Surgeon

Job description

The Plastic Surgeon provides surgical services to patients of all ages in plastic surgery. Provides pre‑operative care, diagnosis, performs all major and minor procedures, and post‑operative care. Works in the the employer Surgical Department at Dhahran, Al Hasa, Ras Tanura and Abqaiq. Attends ambulatory and hospitalized patients, ensuring efficient care within an integrated curative and preventive program. Communicates daily with patients and families about procedures and complications, and coordinates with surgical staff, nurses and physicians to resolve issues. Reports to the Chief of Surgical Services Division and complies with ethical and legal standards. Participates in education, quality assurance and supervises assistant surgeons.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved medical school with internship
• 5 years of residency
• valid medical license
• certification or eligibility by the American Board of Surgery or equivalent
• at least two years experience in all phases of plastic and reconstructive surgery since certification
• proficient oral and written English
• ability to adapt to group practice in an industrial environment with understanding of corporate organization
