Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in medical device maintenance
• General overview of the profession: Following up on the installation and operating procedures of medical devices, following up on remedial maintenance procedures and implementing preventive maintenance programs according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• The usual tasks of this profession
• Follow up on trial operating procedures for medical devices, follow up on their operating procedures according to operating manuals, and train users of medical devices on proper operation and control procedures
• Tracking electronic circuit diagrams for medical devices, diagnosing their malfunctions using testing and measuring devices, and implementing repair and adjustment procedures
• Implementing preventive maintenance programs for medical devices according to the manufacturer’s instructions
• Preparing, submitting, documenting and archiving work reports
• Diploma in biomedical engineering, electronics, electricity, or equivalent
• Experience in installation and calibration of medical devices and preventive maintenance
• Knowledge of safety standards for medical devices and medical gas systems
• Technical, communication and problem-solving skills
