Medical Sciences Consultant

Job description

The role of the consultant includes providing scientific expertise in specific therapeutic areas and developing trusted relationships with external experts and sponsors in the health sector in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. This includes independent scientific exchange, communicating complex medical information, extracting actionable medical insights, supporting evidence generation initiatives, and contributing to the implementation of local medical strategies. It also identifies unmet medical needs, enhances therapeutic understanding, and supports evidence-based health decision making. The consultant collaborates with internal multidisciplinary teams while adhering to regulations and ethical transparency. The role requires extensive travel and participation in scientific conferences and symposia. Responsibilities: Provide scientific expertise for therapeutic areas and products; Deep understanding of diseases, treatments and clinical evidence; Converting insights into recommendations to support local strategies; Follow scientific literature, guidelines and trends; Interpretation and communication of clinical data; Building scientific relationships with experts and academic institutions
