Customs and Compliance Specialist: A vacancy is available for the title of Customs and Compliance Specialist. We are looking for a customs and compliance specialist. Practical experience in the SABER platform, customs exemptions, and customs clearance procedures, to undertake the follow-up of customer transactions and coordination with relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and instructions and facilitating import and customs clearance procedures. Reviewing HS Codes and customs duty categories and verifying eligibility for exemption in accordance with applicable regulations. Follow up on procedures through relevant government platforms, including SABER and FASAH. Follow up on shipments from the stage of receiving documents until completing procedures. Addressing issues and requirements related to customer transactions. Follow up on updates and new systems issued by competent authorities such as ZATCA, SASO, SFDA, etc., and inform management and operations of developments. Preparing and following up reports on transactions and shipments. Location: Dammam Nationality: Saudi. Work type: full time

Requirements

• Implementing and following up on customer transactions via the SABER platform
• Registering products and following up on conformity certificates and required certificates
• Reviewing product requirements and ensuring that they meet regulatory requirements
• Preparing, submitting and following up on requests for customs exemptions until final approval is issued
• Follow up on customs clearance transactions and shipments for customers
• Coordination with customers, customs brokers, and relevant authorities
• Review documents, invoices, packing lists and certificates of conformity
• Practical experience in the SABER platform and customs exemptions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Good knowledge of Saudi Customs systems and regulations and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
• Knowledge of requirements and requirements related to conformity bodies such as SASO and SFDA
• Previous experience in customs clearance, shipping or logistics companies is preferred
• Good knowledge of import and customs clearance procedures
• The ability to deal with customers and follow up on their transactions professionally
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in using computers, government portals, and Microsoft Office programs
• High skills in organization, follow-up and accuracy
