Jr Maintenance Technician

Job description

The Service Technician II performs maintenance duties and reactive calls on the material handling system to ensure productivity, equipment availability, health & safety compliance, and quality. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and electrical equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment, and conveyor systems in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer specifications using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electromechanical
• minimum 3 years' experience in electromechanical or electrical maintenance
• ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings/prints
• minimum 2 years' material handling experience (preferable)
• minimum 1 year CMMS experience
• working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• basic knowledge of controls (PLC, PC) systems
• must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport ID badge
