Lab Equipment Maintenance Specialist - Hydraulics Unit

Job description

The specialist provides professional service and support for laboratory research equipment through reactive and preventive maintenance and calibrations. Mentors junior technicians and prepares user training sessions on equipment operation and maintenance. Aims to maximize equipment uptime while minimizing maintenance costs. Focuses on cooling systems, growth chambers, autoclaves, and glass washers. Works within guidelines set by the LEM head and maintenance leads and follows standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HVACR or related field
• 5+ years experience maintaining refrigeration equipment, using maintenance reporting systems, and applying customer focus techniques
• experience maintaining equipment from KAUST preferred manufacturers such as Buchi, CLF Plant Climatics, Systec, GE, Labconco, the employer, Smeg, the employer, Peak, Percival, Thermo-Fisher
• experience with other major manufacturers
• strong planning and organizational skills
• ability to communicate clearly and concisely
