Inventory Controller

Job description

The job duties include conducting regular and surprise inventory audits of branches and warehouses. Matching physical inventory with the system and reporting discrepancies. Monitoring food item expiration dates. Controlling waste and damage and proposing solutions to minimize them. Ensuring storage standards are applied. Preparing inventory reports and submitting them to management on a regular basis. Coordinating with procurement and production to avoid shortages or surpluses. Monitoring transfer and receipt movements between branches. And detecting any manipulation or operational errors in inventory

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory or warehousing
• proficiency in using systems and Excel programs
• attention to detail and accuracy
