Job description

HSE Officer to join a project in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on promoting safety culture, conducting field inspections, and preparing basic HSE reports. Responsibilities include maintaining inspection logs, safety documentation, and managing emergency and fire safety procedures. Communicating with teams and raising awareness of safety procedures are key duties

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in occupational health and safety, engineering, environmental studies or related field
• NEBOSH certification mandatory
• OSHA certification mandatory
• basic understanding of HSE regulations and risk assessment
• familiarity with HIRA, JSA/JHA, Permit to Work, Toolbox Talks
• ability to conduct field inspections
• knowledge of PPE requirements and emergency procedures
• ability to prepare basic HSE reports and inspection records
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• willingness and ability to work at Al-Ula site
• strong attention to detail and discipline
• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or occupational health or equivalent
• minimum two years experience in a professional safety role
• experience in risk assessment and management
• experience applying OSHA/NEBOSH standards
• experience investigating incidents and reporting
• work location Riyadh
