Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description

Serve as Senior Quantity Surveyor overseeing commercial and contract administration for major wastewater infrastructure projects in Tabuk. Responsible for accurate measurement, validation, and certification of all physical works including treatment plants, pumping stations, and deep utility networks. Ensure contractor payments reflect field realities and comply with budgets and contracts. Conduct routine site inspections, evaluate variations and change orders, review commercial claims, maintain auditable commercial records, and collaborate daily with Resident Engineers and construction teams.

Requirements

• Perform rigorous on-site measurements and quantity take‑offs to validate and certify monthly contractor progress billings and interim payment certificates
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, with professional accreditation such as MRICS or AIQS highly advantageous
• Minimum of 12 years of direct construction experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with proven track record on wastewater networks, treatment facilities, or wet infrastructure utilities
• Deep knowledge of civil engineering standard methods of measurement (CESMM4 or POMI) and FIDIC contracts
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and specialized commercial management software
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills in English, able to negotiate and resolve quantity disputes with contractors on‑site.
