Geotechnical engineer / excavation support expert required - Tabuk An expert geotechnical engineer is required with strong practical experience in deep excavations, strengthening the sides of excavations, and treating soil collapses, to work in a consultative manner and follow up on an existing situation in a project. Nature of the case: A hole approximately 9 meters deep. There was a collapse on one side of the excavation. It is required to evaluate the condition in the field, develop the appropriate solution for strengthening, and complete the work safely. The work includes technical follow-up with the contractor, consultant, and owner until the situation stabilizes and the solution is approved. What is required of the engineer: actual experience in Geotechnical Engineering & Deep Excavation. Experience in Excavation Shoring / Temporary Works. Previous experience in handling excavation collapses. Ability to evaluate soil type, groundwater and the effect of adjacent loads. Determine the appropriate support system and follow up on its implementation in the field. Ability to prepare and review Shoring Design / Method Statement / Risk Assessment. Experience in dealing and coordinating with the consultant, owner, and relevant parties.
