Senior Engineer - ICT, Instrumentation & Controls

Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established procedures. Executes detailed or routine engineering tasks involving calculations and simple tests. Proposes solutions for new problems by adapting standard methods. Identifies result discrepancies and recommends corrective actions. Provides guidance and mentorship to entry‑level engineers. Works within budget and schedule with minimal supervision. Independently completes primary design elements. Develops and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and system analyses. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to meet project objectives. Conducts quality assurance reviews and oversees testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Troubleshoots complex instrumentation and control issues, implementing solutions to optimize performance and reliability. Participates in design reviews and offers technical recommendations to improve efficiency, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Controls Engineering or related field
• 5-7 years of professional experience in instrumentation and control systems design, implementation or maintenance
• demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing complex ICT and instrumentation systems
• strong proficiency in developing technical documentation including design specifications, test reports and system analyses
• solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements for instrumentation and control systems
• proven ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering assignments within budget and schedule constraints
• experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior engineers
• excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams
• proficiency in engineering design tools and software relevant to instrumentation and controls
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (preferred)
• experience with design review processes and quality assurance protocols (preferred)
• familiarity with project management methodologies (preferred)
• knowledge of automation and control system platforms (preferred)
• experience in a regulated industry environment (preferred)
