Senior Electrical Engineer (MC/LV)

Job description

The Senior Electrical Engineer at the employer will lead the design, installation, and commissioning of medium and low voltage power distribution networks in Tabuk. Review and approve complex electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, protection coordination studies, and short‑circuit/voltage drop calculations. Supervise installation of MV/LV substations, transformers, switchgear, ring main units, package substations, and cable routing networks. Ensure all designs and field work comply with project specifications, Saudi Electric Company standards, HCIS regulations, and international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC). Lead equipment evaluations and witness factory and site acceptance tests. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and ELV automation teams to ensure spatial alignment and seamless power provision for MEP systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering
• proficiency in medium and low voltage power system design
• knowledge of electrical design software such as ETAP or CYME
• proficiency in load flow and short‑circuit analysis
• knowledge of power transformer sizing and protection relay settings
• knowledge of grounding system design
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• preferred Professional Engineer (PE) status or registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers
• strong leadership and mentoring skills
• excellent written and spoken English
• willingness to relocate to Tabuk region and work full‑time
• experience with large‑scale projects like NEOM, Oxagon, or Trojena is an asset.
