Quantity Surveyor - Site Based

Job description

the employer seeks a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and contract administration for major wastewater infrastructure projects in Tabuk. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections to verify quantities, evaluating contract variations and change orders, assisting in commercial claim settlement, maintaining auditable commercial records, and collaborating daily with Resident Engineers and construction teams.

Requirements

• Perform rigorous on‑site measurements and quantity take‑offs to validate and certify monthly contractor progress billings and IPCs
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
• Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, AIQS) advantageous
• Minimum 7 years of direct construction experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Proven track record on wastewater networks, treatment facilities, or wet infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of civil engineering standard methods of measurement such as CESMM4 or POMI and FIDIC contracts
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and specialized commercial management software
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills in English for negotiating and resolving quantity disputes.
