Sr Principal Professional Services Project Manager

Job description

Lead delivery of cutting‑edge technology projects for the Middle East region from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are on budget and schedule while achieving high customer satisfaction. Oversee all project management phases, supervise contractors, consultants and engineers, and comply with reporting and documentation requirements. Build client relationships and collaborate with R&D, Support, Product Management, Sales and other teams. Realign projects by implementing changes, clear leadership and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum three years project management leadership experience with IT initiatives
• Minimum ten years overall project management experience
• Experience in process industry (preferably oil & gas, petrochemicals)
• Managing multiple projects across different business functions and locations
• Experience with international customers in the Middle East (ideally also Eastern Europe and India)
• Excellent analytical skills to translate business requirements into deliverables
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create detailed project plans, presentations and accurate financial reports
• Ability to tailor communication to various stakeholder levels
• Team building and management skills
• Leadership through influence rather than formal hierarchy
• Technical understanding for effective technology project delivery including new system implementations
• Proficiency in scope, time, cost, quality, risk and procurement
• Customer focus to ensure satisfaction and long‑term relationships
• Problem solving to identify issues, evaluate alternatives and implement improvements
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time, including international travel
• Industry‑recognized project management certification desirable
• Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies desirable
