Project Engineer Electrical - Design

Job description

The role demands high expertise in the design, execution, testing, and commissioning of complex electrical systems and project management. Responsibilities include performing design reviews and providing constructability insights, reviewing and coordinating shop and as‑built drawings across multiple disciplines, supervising electrical work and daily progress monitoring, conducting QA/QC inspections to identify non‑conforming work and issuing periodic reports, responding to contractor inspection requests and technical queries, verifying quantities and work progress for accurate calculations, coordinating and resolving electrical design issues during construction with all stakeholders, supporting technical decision‑making for electrical systems, assisting in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, providing technical guidance on electrical distribution operation, leading commissioning, startup, and adjustments of electrical systems to ensure proper function, investigating code‑violation complaints and addressing them promptly, monitoring project progression against an approved schedule to meet timelines, documenting deficiencies and corrective actions with photos before and after rectification, maintaining comprehensive records and daily updates to the project track sheet, developing Project Charters outlining scope, budget, and schedule, collaborating transparently with FM, IT, HSE teams and stakeholders, and building trustful relationships with customers by offering options, solutions, and choices that meet their needs
