Prototyping Support Technician

Job description

the employer announces a vacancy for a Prototype Support Technician to provide operational support for external testing projects and maintain prototype workshop equipment. Coordinates, plans, and executes technical initiatives, experiments, and assemblies. Performs preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance. Assists in setting up, installing, and operating devices according to technical specifications. Supports researchers and project teams in solving technical issues and applying SOPs and HSE procedures. Maintains accurate technical documentation, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and project records. Contributes to process improvement by identifying workflow enhancements, conducting risk assessments, and performing root cause analysis

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience in commissioning, testing and maintenance of electrical or mechatronic systems
• practical experience in maintaining prototype workshop equipment with knowledge of PLC and CNC
• ability to diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, electronic and control systems
