Job description

The role ensures a safe working environment by conducting safety inspections and hazard assessments. Implement and oversee safety protocols in compliance with local regulations. Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs. Investigate incidents to determine root causes and apply corrective actions. Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions. Collaborate with management and staff to foster a safety culture. Report on safety performance and recommend improvements

Requirements

• proficient in Excel
• experience with insurance systems
• attention to detail
• compliance knowledge
• bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field
• minimum 5 years experience as a safety officer
• strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
• excellent communication and organizational skills
• ability to work independently and in a team
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred
• willingness to work on-site and travel if required
• GOSI and Ajeer required
