Job description
the employer is seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer specializing in electrical systems. The role ensures electrical projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conducts inspections, reviews, and tests on electrical installations and equipment. Reviews drawings and specifications, prepares inspection test plans (ITP), checklists, and quality records. Coordinates with construction, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues. Ensures compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC. Participates in audits, material inspections, and commissioning activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- minimum of 5 years experience in QA/QC for electrical systems in industrial or construction environments
- strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international codes such as IBC, NFPA 70, IEC, IEEE
- experience with design review, installation supervision, and commissioning activities
- familiar with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, NCRs, and method statements
- excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- proficient in quality control methodologies and tools
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
- relevant certifications in QA/QC or electrical engineering preferred
