Health Quality Specialist

Job description

The Health Quality Specialist ensures the maintenance of high standards of quality, compliance, and governance within KAUST Health. This role involves developing and overseeing clinical quality assurance initiatives and frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and working across departments to promote best practices and maintain accreditation. The Specialist provides expert knowledge and guidance to KAUST Health and helps maintain the oversight of the medical services provider, ensuring that all necessary documentation and records are kept in compliance with regulations. The role includes supporting the development and implementation of quality, governance, and clinical risk management frameworks, assisting in creating and revising policies, procedures, and protocols to meet regulatory and accreditation standards, and ensuring compliance with JCI, CBAHI, and other accreditation requirements across all departments

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and clinical governance practices
• Direct experience with JCI, CBAHI, or other healthcare accreditation processes (highly desirable)
