PMO Leader

Job description

The PMO Leader is responsible for establishing, managing, and leading the Project Management Office within an organization. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization. The PMO Leader ensures that projects are aligned with strategic objectives and monitors their health and progress to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Requirements

• Experience in project management, including extensive leadership in a PMO
• Proven experience in overseeing the implementation of project management standards and governance within a large organization
• Expertise in developing and enforcing project management governance frameworks
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
• Strong skills in resource and budget management
• In-depth knowledge of risk management principles
• Proficiency in project management tools and reporting tools
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Effective problem-solving skills
