Senior Specialist - Governance

Job description

the employer seeks a senior GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) specialist. You will develop and implement GRC frameworks aligned with organizational objectives and industry standards. You will ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements while managing risks effectively. You will work with various departments to foster a compliance culture, identify risks, and ensure transparency and accountability. You will prepare and present GRC reports to senior management and stakeholders. You will stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in governance, risk management, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or related field
• minimum of 8 years experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles
• strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in GRC
• proven experience in developing and implementing effective GRC programs
• excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders
• professional certifications in GRC or risk management (e.g., CCEP, CRISC, CISA) preferred
• experience in construction or infrastructure sectors advantage
• fluency in English essential and proficiency in Arabic a plus
