Senior Manager - Contracts Logistics

Job description

Reports to the Head of Logistics of Supply Chain and Logistics. Responsible for ensuring successful operations of the RSG supply chain, transportation, and logistics for the destination. Contributes to implementing the annual business plan and achieving RSG vision and mission. Implements the Supply Chain and Logistics department strategy and monitors performance. Ensures work is carried out efficiently according to strategic project management plans, policies and procedures. Builds and leads a motivated, engaged and competent team, sets priorities, manages performance and provides feedback. Acts as a role model for employee commitment to TRSDC vision, mission, values and corporate strategy. Contributes to functional budget preparation and monitors financial performance. Develops and executes logistics strategies to optimize supply chain functions across resorts. Guides supply chain team leaders to achieve departmental goals. Oversees Vendor Management, maintains strong supplier relationships and negotiates contracts. Implements SCM systems to enhance operations. Coordinates transportation and distribution, ensuring timely deliveries. Monitors transportation, procurement, storage and distribution costs and implements cost‑saving initiatives. Develops quality control standards for incoming supplies meeting resort hospitality standards. Ensures compliance with regulations, legal requirements and company policies. Ensures adherence to functional policies, processes, SOPs and prepares accurate MIS reports. Applies safety, quality and environmental policies to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance and high‑quality service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field
• Master’s degree considered a plus
• proven experience of at least 15 years in supply chain management, logistics or related roles, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort operations
• strong leadership and people management skills with ability to motivate cross‑functional teams
• in‑depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics operations and best practices
• proficiency in using supply chain management software, inventory management systems and relevant technological tools
• excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• analytical mindset to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions
• strong problem‑solving skills and creative thinking to overcome supply chain and logistics challenges.
