Senior Civil Engineer

Job description

At the employer in Tabuk, you will provide senior-level technical expertise, oversight, and design coordination for massive infrastructure and site development projects. You will lead civil engineering design elements including site grading, drainage systems, roadways, earthworks, and wet utility networks. You will perform comprehensive technical reviews of contractor submittals, shop drawings, calculation reports, and material specifications. You will provide strategic guidance and technical mentorship to junior engineers and design teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will coordinate extensively with cross-functional teams (structural, mechanical, electrical, and project management) to resolve interface conflicts and ensure smooth multidisciplinary integration. You will act as a key technical liaison with clients, stakeholders, and local municipal authorities to facilitate design approvals and project alignment. You will conduct site visits and engineering audits to monitor progress, resolve complex field issues, and ensure strict compliance with approved designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related Engineering field from an accredited university
• Minimum of 10 years progressive civil engineering experience with significant exposure to large-scale infrastructure mega-projects and land development
• Advanced proficiency in civil engineering design software including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling tools
• Deep understanding of international standards (AASHTO, ASTM) and the Saudi Building Code (SBC)
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills in English
• Ability to present technical strategies to clients and project executives
• Arabic language capability is advantageous
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to deliver results within tight schedules on high‑profile developments in Tabuk
