Senior Project Controls Specialist

Job description

You will support project delivery by monitoring cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Schedule Management: Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Cost Control: Track expenditures, commitments, and forecasts; analyze variances against the approved baseline budget. Progress Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing schedule status, cost performance, and key milestones. Risk & Change Management: Assist in identifying potential risks and tracking change orders to evaluate their impact on cost and timeline. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather data and resolve schedule or cost discrepancies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, or cost estimation in construction or engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, IT, Finance or related field
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Arabic
