Safety & Risk Officer

Job description

The Safety & Risk Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational safety and health standards in establishments in accordance with the regulations and laws issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. He evaluates risks in the work environment, investigates incidents, and ensures that workers comply with wearing personal protective equipment to reduce work injuries. He also contributes to promoting a culture of prevention and implementing emergency and evacuation plans within government and private institutions.

• Risk assessment and management
• Implementation of occupational safety and health standards (OSHA/NEBOSH)
• Incident investigation and reporting
• Development of emergency and evacuation plans
• Monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
