Director - Operation

Job description

Lead the operational backbone of the 180‑hectare Botanica site, overseeing field operations and plant maintenance, plant protection, irrigation and water management, soil mix and growing media, logistics, receiving and dispatch, as well as facilities, fleet and workshops. Ensure plant health, timely order fulfillment, and safe, efficient site operation for all business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Horticulture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• minimum 15 years experience in nursery, agricultural, landscape or facility operations
• at least 7 years leading field operations with a workforce of 200+
• proficient in irrigation systems and water management in arid climates
• proficient in logistics, dispatch planning and stock control
• proficient in maintenance planning (CMMS) and asset management
• proficient in cost control and HSSE leadership
• fluent English
• Arabic preferred.
