About the Role the employer is seeking a Rigger Turbine Outages & Precision Equipment Handler for a contract position in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for executing heavy and precision lifting operations during power plant turbine outages and industrial maintenance shutdowns. The position requires handling multi-million dollar rotating equipment and delicate machinery within restricted spaces, adhering strictly to engineered lifting plans and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Safely attach, lift, guide, and position heavy turbine components and associated mechanical equipment in strict compliance with approved, engineered lifting plans. Thoroughly review critical technical parameters prior to every lift, including total load weight, the employer center of gravity, designated lifting points, travel path clearances, and final landing arrangements. Select, calculate, and inspect specialized rigging hardware such as synthetic/wire-rope slings, shackles, spreader beams, chain blocks, and specialized lifting accessories. Audit all lifting tackle before use to verify valid identification tags, current inspection status, and Working Load Limits (WLL). Expertly guide immense structural loads through highly restricted areas and congested plant environments utilizing controlled mechanical methods and precise signaling. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an industrial rigger. Strong preference for candidates who have completed major turbine outages, power plant shutdowns, or heavy mechanical maintenance. Comprehensive knowledge of rigging mathematics, center-of-gravity calculations, crane signals, and rigging hardware capacities. Required Skills Exceptional technical expertise in precision lifting operations. High attention to detail and flawless precision under fast-paced outage timelines. Strong teamwork orientation and strict commitment to safety protocols. Work Environment This role requires the ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and to handle the physical demands of 12-hour shifts typical during emergency or scheduled outages. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an industrial rigger
