Director of Irrigation

Job description

Participate in the preparation of the plans, programs and projects aimed at utilizing and developing the water resources; and directly supervise the preparation of the operational plans related to irrigation affairs, including plans to provide, and verify the quality of, the irrigation water; manage and maintain and develop the irrigation plants and equipment as well as the tools used in the irrigation system; follow-up the conduct of the applied studies and research in the areas of irrigation and soil; and develop the irrigation policies and adopted indicative and procedural manuals.

• Monitor procurement and review implementation phases of irrigation projects
