Senior Manager - Logistics

Job description

The Senior Logistics Manager develops, coordinates and implements construction logistics plans across an assigned district or group of construction packages. Converts the District Logistics Director’s strategy into coordinated delivery plans, leads Logistics Managers and supporting resources, and manages contractor interfaces, construction access, traffic management, haul routes, temporary facilities, logistics risks and operational readiness activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Logistics, Transport Planning or a related discipline
• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, infrastructure delivery or complex site operations
• demonstrated experience managing logistics across multiple contractors or construction packages
• proficient in logistics planning, construction access, traffic management and haul-route coordination
• ability to review contractor logistics and traffic-management plans
• strong understanding of construction programs, phasing, risk management and work sequencing
• strong leadership, communication, coordination, reporting and presentation skills.
