Director - Performance and Rehabilitation (Healthcare)

Job description

The Director of Performance and Rehabilitation leads the development and delivery of integrated rehabilitation, human performance, and return-to-performance services across the QHC Sports Medicine & Performance Center. Key responsibilities include: leading strategic development and day‑to‑day delivery of rehabilitation and human performance services, establishing evidence‑based standards, protocols, and clinical pathways across physiotherapy, rehabilitation, strength & conditioning, and performance services, building an integrated model linking clinical care, and performance, overseeing rehabilitation programs for musculoskeletal and sports‑related injuries, developing structured return‑to‑play and return‑to‑performance pathways in collaboration with sports medicine physicians and relevant specialists, ensuring rehabilitation plans are individualized, measurable, and based on objective clinical and performance criteria, supporting long‑term athlete health, injury prevention, and recurrence reduction, partnering closely with the Medical Director, Center Director, sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, performance scientists, nutritionists, and mental performance specialists, ensuring smooth transitions between medical treatment, contributing to multidisciplinary case reviews and return‑to‑play decisions, leading and developing multidisciplinary rehabilitation and performance professionals, establishing clear KPIs, quality standards, and professional development plans, supporting recruitment, workforce planning, and succession planning, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, monitoring clinical outcomes, rehabilitation results, promoting evidence‑based practice and adoption of international best practices, supporting research, education, and innovation within sports medicine, and human performance, evaluating emerging rehabilitation technologies, diagnostics
