About the Role We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join our growing Buildings team. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects across the public and private sectors, working alongside multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of building services electrical engineering projects, supporting project managers and leading ineers throughout all phases of design and delivery. You will work closely with clients, project stakeholders and internal teams while continuing to develop your technical expertise and project delivery capabilities. Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, below: • Deliver electrical building services designs across the portfolio A variety of construction and infrastructure projects. • Preparing technical reports, design calculations, specifications, schedules and engineering documents. • Produce and review electrical design drawings and coordinate design information with multi-disciplinary teams. • Conduct surveys of existing electrical systems and contribute to the renewal and modernization of solutions. • Support the development of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical engineering solutions. • Contribute to project delivery in accordance with program, budget and quality requirements. • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, architects and other engineering disciplines. • Support project managers and technical leads with design coordination and technical reviews. • Assist in preparing fee proposals and technical inputs for project bids when required. • Mentor and support graduate and early career engineers, and contribute to the exchange of technical knowledge within the team. • Support continuous improvement of digital ways of working, and share knowledge and lessons learned. • Demonstrate safe, ethical and inclusive behaviors consistent with the the employer Values. Essential Candidate Specifications • Qualified degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering (Electrical) or related discipline. • Member of the Saudi Council of Engineers. • Working towards or recently holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and membership of CIBSE, IET or equivalent professional body. • Proven experience in providing electrical building services designs within consulting or engineering environments. • Good understanding of building regulations, codes, standards and best practices applied to the built environment. • Experience in using engineering programs Compatible with industry standards such as Amtech, IES, Relux, and Revit. • Awareness of BIM and experience working within landscaped design environments. • Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills. • Desirable experience working in commercial, hospitality, education, residential, healthcare or mixed-use developments. • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary project delivery teams. • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy efficient building systems. • Experience mentoring graduate engineers or technicians. • Previous experience working on projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East region.
